There is an immediate health care access crisis within our community, state, country and in many parts of the world.  Currently, it is estimated that more than 46 million Americans are without insurance.  In May 2008, CNN reported that in the year 2007, at any given time there were more than 95 million Americans who were either completely without insurance or who were underinsured.  Recognizing these factors, it is the mission of Select Physician Care, LLC (“SPC”) to provide an affordable, consumer driven alternative to the continually escalating costs of health insurance that meets the basic health care needs of its clients.

Select Physician Care, LLC, a Georgia limited liability company, was organized in 2006.  SPC is a health care service provider that provides affordable health care access plans to small to medium-sized businesses and self-employed individuals.  Unlike most of the other Physician Discount Plans or Consumer-Directed Health Care programs, SPC directly administers the plans and provides the facilities, equipment, and medical personnel in physician office settings.  SPC utilizes web-based technology to share data between centers, physicians, and clients and enable clients to more directly coordinate their health care.  This self-coordination of patient care helps SPC maintain a lower overhead while providing a high level of convenience and customer service.
